Reif's Return - 3 days to go! (The Negative effect of Cheapness)

My books are cheap. And the covers look cheap. That gives them a 'negative effect of cheapness', even though what's inside them is a whole lot 'richer' than your average sci-fi Amazon ebook with 100+ 5 star reviewers from dumbed-down readers and buddy-'wanna-be' authors.

Why are my books cheap? Because I would like people to read them - there are messages in them, you WILL understand them, you WILL feel them, and some people DON'T WANT TO, that's why the 1,2 and 3 star reviews happen. (No, they're because I'm a bad writer?? NO. I'm not the best, but I know how to write to get your own schemata out)

Why do my covers look cheap? Because I spent zero money on them because I don't have the capital to spend money on them. If I sold 1000s of books, I WOULD GET GOOD COVERS. But I don't, so I can't. Writing is a pleasure for me, but not (yet) a business and all my money goes to beating the dictator-led system we're living under.

My books have always had 'The Negative Effect of Cheapness'. People think they're bad or worth nothing because of the cover and the price. People have a habit of putting more emphasis on the negative things in life. Sad.

An author friend recently asked me, "When's your new promo?" I said, "These are my promos! I keep the price down!" Maybe it's time to put the price up a little? Later I'll put them up a dollar like I did with my first series.

So, before that happens...

Reif's Return - 4 days to go!

As I mentioned earlier, I put an extra line on the blurbs on Amazon...

(4-book series: Book 1: Awakening / Book 2: Realisation / Book 3: Struggle / Book 4: Control)

Let's explain those...if I have to...

Gubacsi Dulu (book 1) is where Karina is 'living' her conditioned life the way she wants to, or thinks she wants to, and then she is 'awakened' about a certain part of her society.

Radnoti X (book 2) is where Karina realises that she needs to do something about this, and also finds out a truth about her race - one reviewer mentioned they thought this book was superfluous... but he was a man (do you get my drift?)

Farkas Alpha (book 3) is where Karina does her best with what she has to make her realisation come to fruitation and struggles to do it.

Reif's Return (book 4) is when she has what she needs to gain control and find out what it's all about.

Humanity H2O... maybe you can also find out what it's all about! 42? Nah...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08H8GNYKP

Reif's Return - 5 days to Publication!

Actually, 'Reif's Return' is already available as a paperback, but come on, you're all waiting for the ebook, which will be out on the 4th of January! So, 5 more days and counting!

The series... I've just added a line on all 4 books' blurbs, just to help those reading what exactly they ARE reading...

(4-book series: Book 1: Awakening / Book 2: Realisation / Book 3: Struggle / Book 4: Control)

Humanity H2O isn't an 'all-shooting', 'all action', 'kill the aliens', 'stop the invasion' sci-fi. It's a view of our society today and how we are in fact 'eating' (drinking) ourselves, killing our planet, fighting between our differences for profit, for gain, when in actuality, life has nothing to do with our differences or how much we have in monetary gain. What is it about? Read the books! Maybe you'll find out! ...do I have the answer? I have mine. Do you have yours?

The books are written well. Forget those who say it's slow, or has no story or is confusing. They're wrong. When I see readers putting on 1,2 and 3 star ratings on the books, I know they themselves didn't understand the books because they have a way to go in understanding their position in this universe, the lower the rating, the further away, of course. And when I see a 1 star rating from a 70+ year old Florida guy, well... sad, but true.

Gubacsi Dulu latest ratings! (57th)

From the 51st till the 57th rating, Gubacsi Dulu has received mixed stars, as usual... 4,4,1,5,3,2,5 = 3.4 Not good.

The 56th, a 2 star, comes with a strange looking review, which mostly composes of a quote and blurb from my book, so she used my own writing to write her review...plus she misspelt "Scify". I'm not putting the review up here, that would be pointless again.

AND she used 6 *s instead of the word 'shitty' in the quote from the book, implying that the book is filled with FOUL language, which it isn't. Her review is therefore DEFAMATORY to the book. What she doesn't know is that the books are psychological mirrors of the reader... and it's clear she only read the first 20 pages.

If people don't understand something, then it must be bad. These sound like ignorant people.

But the latest, the 57th!! A 5 star! THANK YOU! There is still hope...

The other day I read a few pages of a book which IMHO was a 1 star - poor writing, description, dialogue and clone story, but it had 90% 5 star ratings... curious...

Note: Gubacsi Dulu is Book 1...the first few chapters are being called 'slow'. Any good story, book or film, won't pushed you into the action immediately. That would be some poor second-rate literature / art / media / entertainment. Any good story has a sense of lulled peacefulness, until the storm hits.

Doesn't anyone know why the first Star Wars film was actually Book 4 and not Book 1? Because they knew their audience wouldn't sit through a film of Book 1 until the genre was set by the more action-packed Book 4. Remember that film of book 1? I like it, but... did you, compared to the others? What was different?

So, Humanity H2O.... can humanity save itself from its own stupidity? Where are the people who think?

And Newsflash! Someone is reading Radnoti X by KENP...AND someone also bought a Gubacsi Dulu! THANK YOU! Three things which made my WEEK!

Re-watching 'Tenet' - Reversal Entropy NOT Time Travel

Watching 'Tenet' for the second time. And it's not about time travel. It's about reversal entropy. There's a 'professor that tries to explain it on youtube but from what I can see of the first few minutes of his video, he's tried many times (about 3 days involved in recording at least). He actually makes a 'pig's ear of it' so there's no reason to give you the link.

'Tenet' is a spectacular movie based on the idea of reversing 'entropy'. So, 'Tenet' is a film dealing with reversal entropy where things which belong to the 'other reverse universe' can go backwards under the guidance of thought. On the other side of those turnstile doors is a mirror universe where time runs backwards (Time Inversion) and that's where the reversed entropy objects can be found. In that case "Bravo!" It's a wonderfully cinematic film about that - though the characters are shallow and the dialogue is worse. You must suspend your disbelief to enjoy this movie...(turn off your brain).

And how about time-travel? The Grandfather paradox? Different versions of yourself? Look at this video... (it gives you many thoughts and ideas about the film).

TENET EXPLAINED: Time Inversion, Entropy and more! | Tenet (2020) | Film Analysis | TBFR

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUMrOqSuTSE

And there's a nice one about the storyline, too.

BUT for me, all these are nice ideas but they don't hold up well, there are too many loopholes... for example, Time Inversion... you don't poop in the toilet, you collect your poop from the toilet... yuck! And what about the bit in the movie where the gun pulls the bullets out of the wall? Well, you push the trigger to allow the bullet to leave the gun, so, in order to 'catch' the bullet, you need to do the reverse action with the trigger, which means the bullet goes into the gun when you 'release' the trigger? Plausible. (The video around 10-12:00 deals with the problems of the bullets and MAN there are some problems!) But I'm telling ya, don't stay in the 'inverted universe' for long because you'll have to eventually go for a pee or poop...

So, do you want a plausible story? Humanity H2O! It's so plausible... actually it's been happening for centuries and you don't even know it! (Hypothetically, of course).

Reif's Return set for 4th of January 2021!

Gubacsi Dulu received its 55th rating... a 3 star... well, at least it wasn't a 2 or a 1! 3 stars is still like "What's your problem?" but hey! ...And where did the reviews go? It's all 'hit'n'run ratings nowadays. ...and more Russian BOTs... but  now the MAIN news...

Over a month earlier than I'd previously planned, Reif's Return, the 4th book in my Humanity H2O series (and final one, honestly), will come out as an ebook on the 4th of January 2021!

It will answer all those nagging little questions the readers had from the books before - and probably create some new ones... but there's always another series. Even now I realise there are some 'loose end' characters which can have a new life of their own. There are a few from this latest book, but also others from before.

Anyway! You HAVE to read the 4th! Reif's Return! Pre-Order to start 2021 with the answers!

2358 AD. Police Officer Karina Reif is dead. Or is she? Coming to in the laboratory above Farkas Alpha, Karina tries, with all she has, to take control of her new life and find out exactly what has been happening around her and why. Will she find the answers she seeks? A claustrophobic, subtly humorous, psychotic future of people who no longer know why.

Merry Christmas, BOTs! + Jesse Tate & 'Tenet'

Yep, the blog got hit by BOTS yesterday, all from Russia. Why do I even bother with this?

Next idea... now that I've written a great 4-book sci-fi series that I'm happy to share with the world... maybe it's time to write it up as a film! If there's one sci-fi series that deserves a 4-part film series, it's this one, isn't it? Great look, intrigue, some action, a lot of thinking... rather like some Christopher Nolan movie... better than Tenet... I'm going to analyse that movie and find out why I think it doesn't work - maybe I'll find out it does! But this is what I'm talking about...

'Tenet Thought Experiment: Everything Wrong with Nolan's Time Travel" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcL9inDI0Qs

And of course, the initial film review... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgfCBgpNomU

(These are done by Jesse Tate, great thinker! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpu1XT5QfrBI2YuLEEcQg-Q)

...And Gubacsi Dulu got its 54th rating... a 5 star! THANK YOU, whoever you are, you give me hope!

Another Tribute to Jasper T. Scott!

As I sit here and wait for something to happen, good ratings, bad ratings, any sales and KENP at all (and writing, of course) I'd just like to give another tribute to Jasper T. Scott, the USA Today Best-Selling Author! I've read all his books from the very beginning of his career as a sci-fi writer which started over 10 years ago. Out of all those sci-fi writers on Amazon, he's the best by a mile. It doesn't matter which series you choose, you'll be entertained for hours. He doesn't need an advert from me, but I'd like to give a moment to him. Here is a list of things his book are and have:

Easy to read - those pages just flow past like good wine.

Incredible worlds - you can imagine yourself there.

Believable characters - you can recognise these people.

Realistic dialogue - you hear conversations you once had (except for any alien stuff and future tech, of course)

Logical technology - and talking about tech, yeah, plausible.

Enticing Stories - as I said, it's not only because it's easy to read, the story hooks you in.

Entertaining - and also keeps you entertained. Isn't that the reason why you're reading?

Jasper T. Scott!

You WILL get something out of my books

During my time trying to write, trying to get my books and stories read, I've somehow been able to get onto about thirty to fifty email lists, all from 'wanna-be' authors trying to sell their books. When I first started I wanted to do this, create an email list, but then I realised that the only people who I could collect emails from were other 'wanna-be' authors... what was the point? Every 'wanna-be' author wants to sell their books, not buy other 'wanna-ba' authors' books. It's like a bunch of smiling people with no ears running around shouting "Buy my book! buy my book! I'm a really happy, nice person! Look! I like you! Buy my book!" all enclosed in a small hall, and somehow they keep going, onto the next book, onto the next email because somewhere, someone DID buy one or two or more and then they got enthusiastic. I always check these 'wanna-be' authors' work out and more often than not, they shouldn't be running around. honestly. And even if I do find some good work, I wouldn't buy their book because I don't have the money for that! My money goes on food and shelter, trying to pay the bills and buy food which seems to be getting more and more expensive every week but the inflation rate stays the same...

So..."Buy my book!"...no, really. I keep the price as low as possible. "Read my book!" is my motto because IT WILL give you something. You WILL get something out of it.

...And the 53rd rating for Gubacsi Dulu is... not worth mentioning. Congratulations whoever you are.. I hope one day you will get better, for humanity's sake.

Humanity H2O! Can you handle these books? Some people can't.

First Beta Reader gives feedback on Reif's Return!

I think the best thing for me to do here is copy the Foreword that'll be in the book from the first ever reader of Reif's Return!

Foreword from the First Reader

"It was a great opportunity and fantastic experience to read Reif’s Return. In Farkas Alpha’s foreword I wrote that Dani J. Caile had become one of my favourite writers. Reading this last book, he became my absolute favourite writer! There’s something very special about all of his books. They are logical, exciting, fun and quite easy to read despite all the adventures and complicated things going on in them. This one made me smile, laugh and think a lot. It made me feel.

I loved the whole story. It was believable, a bit crazy, but believable. And amazingly logical. Yet again. The end was really surprising. At first I felt a bit strange about it, maybe even a bit disappointed. But all in all it was a brilliant story and ended happily. And I can’t say anything but WOW.

I think one of the characters with my name is actually very similar to me. She is optimistic, full of energy, strange, silly, sometimes annoying, and often interrupted or ignored by other people when she talks about something she likes. And I’m really proud of her again, I feel so honoured to see she was with Karina all the time.

I want to thank Dani J. for not only including my name(s) in Book 4 as well as 3, but also for letting me read this excellent book! Again it’s been an honour to be a part of Humanity H2O."

So, can you see how great the book is? Pre-Order now! It's coming out soon!

Reif's Return out at the Beta Readers!

Yes, I was able to read through the first draft and get it to my Beta readers! it looks like I might be able to publish it before the end of the year.

I had my doubts about this book, but when I read it through, I realised it was SOOOO needed. Karina is finally able to take control and... [spoiler].

Not much news about the series, other than a sale... thank you, whoever you are! Keep recommending the books!

Radnoti X - 8th rating! - 4 stars!

A little activity! Radnoti X got its 8th rating, a 4 star from someone in the UK! Thank you, whoever you are (I'll try not to mention Brexit...damn).

Reviews and ratings are heavily in favour of Gubacsi Dulu, so for the second book to get one, it's great! It also shows a reader moving through the series... maybe. These books were a lot of work but it makes all the hard effort worth it if someone reads them, and maybe even gives feedback.

Remember, recommend the series to your friends! ...edited 10% of Reif's Return so far!

Back to the Wilderness...

It's sadly all kind of died down now, the sales, KENP, reviews, ratings... BUT Christmas is here! And I might be able to publish 'Reif's Return' before the New Year! (Probably not Christmas, that would really be pushing it.)

It has so many twists and turns, it's difficult for me to keep up! But I'm sure if anyone bothers to get this far into the series, they'll have some fun reading it. I'm looking forward to finishing it, though. I have another idea...

Looking for loopholes...

Oh, and here's the blurb...

2358 AD. Police Officer Karina Reif is dead. Or is she? Coming to in the laboratory above Farkas Alpha, Karina tries, with all she has, to take control of her new life and find out exactly what has been happening around her and why. Will she find the answers she seeks?

First Draft Reif's Return finished

...and now comes the task of re-reading and editing. Reif's Return follows the 5 part storyline, setup, complication, interlude, development and climax. Yes, all good, solid stories have these stages, and if you are a good writer, they come naturally, which it did, I only saw it as a whole in the last moments. Once you've written a few books, this happens, unless there's a problem and you've forced your hand, so to speak.

Reif's Return was an after-thought, as anyone can see from the Preface in book 3, Farkas Alpha...

"I thought this time as it’s the last book in this particular series..."

which I've now changed. I also noticed I'd forgotten to hyperlink the whole document in the ebook version... damn. Now it's done. As it will be for Reif''s Return.

So, again, just a brief post, as I'm busy editing... Reif's Return! Come and Pre-Order! It might even be ready for Christmas!

Number 52 for Gubacsi Dulu!

Things are always moving on, and yesterday Gubacsi Dulu received another great 4 star rating from 'who knows who'... thank you, whoever you are! You keep the book alive... and me!

I'm continuously writing up Book 4, hoping to get it out to my Beta readers soon and into Amazon, maybe even before the end of the year! Seeing as my estimate was the 8th of February to finish, I think I'm doing quite well. I hope I don't upset those who pre-ordered by bringing the publishing date closer. I never know. Feedback is zero to nil. The only feedback I get is reviews and ratings, and so far, that's been pretty regular. But from who? Who are you? I'd really like to get closer to my readers, for future books and ideas. Every time I write a book it's like I have to 'reinvent' myself. If I had an e-mail list of past readers who I can notify when something's coming out, that would be the best. But... but I have you... again, whoever you are.

Anyway, keep up the good work, whatever you may be doing! Humanity H2O!

One more rating for Gubacsi Dulu

Gubacsi Dulu has now started on its next set of 50 ratings (ha!), the 51st, and it's a 4 star! (Which is the new 5 star, said nobody). The average is still under 4, so my future options for advertising are limited :-( But these reviews and ratings show a certain reality of broad views than any other book in the genre... I wonder why? Probably because... [censored]

Anyway, here's Gubacsi Dulu's ratings! Thank you to ALL those who have rated and especially reviewed the book! I hope more will join and give their honest opinion.

Every review and rating matters for the books (and sale, don't forget sale), for myself and for the future, unknown readers! How are they meant to know what the book is like unless someone tells them!

But every new review and rating is frightening. I have no idea when they are coming, where, or what the opinion will be! 95% of my reviews/ratings are from absolute strangers!

So, Humanity H2O! My blood is on those pages!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08H8GNYKP

Sales Continue! :-) Reif's Return going well!

It's mainly been a quiet week of writing Book 4, 'Reif's Return', but Gubacsi Dulu received its 50th rating, and I had a few sales of both Radnoti X and Farkas Alpha... yeah! I'm happy about that. And I'm positive that I have a reader in Japan, who has bought the first three books! I hope they continue on until the last, I'm having so much fun writing it! My Beta readers are killing themselves from curiosity to find out what's inside!

It'll probably come out earlier than February the 8th.

Pre-order 'Reif's Return'!!!

Gubacsi Dulu... 50th rating! 4 stars... good for me!

And it has finally happened! Another first! Gubacsi Dulu has now received 50 ratings! And it's a good one, 4 stars! Thank you, whoever you are!

I can't say it enough, this sci-fi series has really created some fantastic 'firsts' for me, and I'm wondering what could be the next? Finishing the 4th in the series would be good too... halfway, working on the next half. It's going to be one hell of a book. Of course, it might break some heads, but that's what good literature does!

So...Humanity H2O! Will we find a way?

Still moving on! Humanity H2O!

A little bit of activity going on these last few days. A sale, some KENP read, and I almost put myself down for an interview with another author... until I realised it was just a scam to collect email addresses, and then I'd get yet another email every day asking me to buy/vote/read something. I used to bombard people on Facebook with that kind of stuff, but now I realise that gets you nowhere fast. Find a place where they want what you're giving, and stick with it. Unfortunately, I still haven't found that place...LOL.

And haven't you realised that there are a TON of sci-fi authors (supposedly 'published' authors who actually self-publish) who have a suspiciously high number of 5 and 4 star reviews/ratings? Mmm... when I look at my reviews/ratings, I wonder why I have a suspiciously high number of 1 and 2 star ratings/reviews? Mmmm

Anyway... Humanity H2O! You know the score! Recommend, read, review!

The fourth collaboration with Jason Brick is out! (Actually, it's been out for a few days, I just didn't see it)

It has 101 stories by 101 authors, one only a few words long, while most 1000. Mine, if you remember, is called "Reflections on a Comfortable Life"...yes, it's now published for many to see!

The other stories are a wide variety of genre and styles, I'm sure there's something inside for everyone!

Two 5 star ratings!!! (1 for Gubacsi Dulu, 1 for Radnoti X)

Yesterday I think a reader decided to rate the first two books of Humanity H2O, and they gave them two 5 star ratings! Thank you, kind reader that you are! ...whoever you are...!

So, Gubacsi Dulu is at 49 ratings, one off 50! And the more ratings for Radnoti X, the better!

I must say, after a few days of inactivity on the sales/KENP front, they came at a good time, to energise me to keep going with Book 4 (Reif's Return). It's going well, almost at half-way with the first draft. There's still quite a bit of thinking to go into the book, but I'm putting all I have into it.

Recommend it to all! Humanity H2O!

How Men Write Women...part 2

I just remembered a time when I was first starting out, back in 2011 and I was a member of a long forgotten author trash-pile website, and I made a few acquaintances. One of them was some historical fiction writer, a woman from New Zealand who could write pretty well, though sometimes her ideas and structure went awry. We helped each other with a little reading and editing. Anyhow, it came to a point when she was discussing men and how they have overpowered women and taken over society, and I agreed, and then she went on a rant about hating men, etc. and I replied, "Well, as a man, I agree with most of what you're saying..." And that was it. Three months of communication and... gone. No contact, nothing. She was gone. Even her work on the website disappeared. It was a shame because some of her work was excellent. And all it took was one variable of reality. What if I'd said I was gay, or black, or an alien, or even a Trump supporter (Trump was still a loser back then, too, living off his cons and lies). What trigger would send anyone into the abyss?

Anyway, people have problems and rather than deal with them, which would mean to think and suffer to be a better person, they find it easier to find a more comfortable way, to deny, ignore or retaliate against whatever it is and continue on... without change.

So, would you like to change? Humanity H2O can help you...if you let it.

Silence... is golden?

Well, the ride is almost over 😢 The only thing left is to finish book 4 and publish and allow those who pre-ordered Reif's Return to pick it up and read it. Absolutely no activity on any front, just like the good ol' days, and I'm back in the desert, burning in the rays of mediocrity.

But it's been one hell of a ride. So many firsts, which were probably my lasts, too. Until somehow these books are reviewed or advertised in some large magazine or on some website, they'll be there, on Amazon, waiting for the unsuspecting sci-fi wanderer looking for another book to read.

There might be another book or two, perhaps a third 'How to' if I can find a cover artist, perhaps another book, a stand-alone. There will be one more 'Dani's Shorts', and one more Jason Brick anthology, coming soon.

So... Humanity H2O! ...looks like our species will continue on without a care...

Farkas Alpha 2nd Review from Top 500 reviewer - 4 star!

Yes, Farkas Alpha got its second review/rating, all the way from Australia, and from the same Top 500 Reviewer as before (the 3 star for Gubacsi Dulu and the 3 star for Radnoti X). This time she gave a 4 star! Thank you, whoever you are! (You know, most self-published authors get a lot of reviews from family and friends...me? A handful are, but most are from people I've never met, strangers)

Is the series winning this reader over? Is it making progress? Will she read Reif's Return once I've written it?

Well, if you want to follow her in her footsteps, just come and take the books and read!

A lull in the storm...

For a few days now, not much activity on the KDP front, a lull in the storm...Until Reif's Return hits - or maybe something will happen at Christmas. I've set the publishing date for February, though I'm working hard to get it to my Beta readers before the end of the year, or the beginning of 2021.

So, I had a look at the books overall a few days ago, and in the subcategory Children's Steampunk, I found out that the first 3 books are collected close together in rank... which was nice, so I took a shot, this isn't going to happen again... Reif's Return was back at #69...

Although things have calmed down, the books are there on Amazon and I hope that over time, more people will see them, read them and get something out of them, either feelings, ideas, entertainment, a headache...

Humanity H2O! Do humanity find a way? Well, if they keep putting poor ratings on the series, then probably not...

How Men write Women... Wake up to the Lies

I caught this image on a Facebook post (actually a Twitter picture), and it got me thinking that maybe some readers think I've done this, and maybe here is one reason why I'm getting poor ratings...

"Male authors trying to show a woman at rock bottom:"

The thing is... for myself, it's not true.

The main character is flawed, yes, but so are ALL the characters. There isn't one which doesn't have a problem. Are you perfect? If you think you are, then you ARE flawed.

And if a reader judged a writer like this without evidence... shows a lot about that person. People have problems, don't they.

And probably the biggest reason why this isn't true for myself... I orginally wrote the character as male and then swapped the gender and name in honour of one of the best English students I've ever had. So, I wasn't thinking 'female' when I started writing the book, so the 'flawed' character at the beginning of Gubacsi Dulu is actually a 'guy'...I changed the pronouns and then continued on, trying to write 'her' out of her flaws in a natural way. Reif's Return is the finale of her development.

Joseph Conrad is considered a racist by many, even though he suffered prejudice all his life and he was only trying to show the readers of his time the true reality of their immediate society in his lifetime, a racist society filled with institutional, systemic racism.

But hey! Don't listen to the writer. As a reader, you can only take from a book what you see inside it.

Humanity H2O. Spread the truth. Wake up to the lies.

Gubacsi Dulu ... 5 star rating.... then Radnoti X ... 1 star? This person has issues!

Yesterday Gubacsi Dulu got an anonymous 5 star rating which brought the total up to 48! Only two away from the magic 50! I might be able to advertise on a few sites if it gets there. Let's break them down

5 stars - 21, 4 stars - 11, 3 stars - 6, 2 stars - 4, 1 star - 6

So, exactly two thirds gave the book the thumbs up (4+5 stars), while the other third didn't like it. I'm sure a lot of those anonymous 2 and 1 star ratings are from the 'hidden' 'Trash sci-fi Mafia'! Or a lot of people with TRIGGERS and ISSUES.

AND... Gubacsi Dulu isn't the only book of the series to be hit... Radnoti X got done over by an anonymous 1 star rating... the 'hidden' Trash sci-fi Mafia? There must be a law against this, truly. None of these books in this series deserves a 1 or 2 star rating, these people have ISSUES. Jealousy? A lack of appreciation for style? No brain? Because these books make you think, they were written to do that. I guess not everyone wants to use their brains - they want to continue to live an unchanging life in a voracious society which kills Earth and everything on it.

And, because of these poor ratings, I cannot advertise on the websites as I need an average higher than 4... the Trash scifi Mafia know that. They want to keep intelligent books off THEIR market, they want THEIR readers to stay dumb. Just another conspiracy theory 😂 or real?

So, anyone want to rate Gubacsi Dulu? Or Radnoti X, now that's it's being hit? Or even Farkas Alpha, before it's lone rating is destroyed?

Reif's Return: #1 New Release (in Children's Steampunk)!

And it happened! If only for a moment (actually a few hours). Reif's Return, book 4 (and final) in the Humanity H2O series reached No.1 New Release in Children's Steampunk, and so got the wonderful little orange banner - all thanks to Jasper T Scott and his fantastic promo!

The other 3 books in the series also gained a little push, too, and I'm looking forward to seeing how these new readers take them! Will they love them or hate them? Gubacsi Dulu already seems to have a love/hate thing going for it, with 38% of reviews/ratings being 3 star or less. If you have a 'hang up', if you have a prejudice, these books will bring it right out!

Humanity H2O... are you frightened of the truth?

First Pre-Orders of Reif's Return! 5th in New Releases!

Yes! Someone out there wishes to continue the journey of Humanity H2O and find out what happens to Officer Karina Reif (isn't she dead?) and all the answers to those little questions (what really was Hadidi's plan? Did the virus/vaccine...(SPOILER)... Yeah, I can't say much more about that. 5th in New Releases for Children's Steampunk Books!

There's still movement, mostly with Radnoti X, though the reviews and ratings have slowed again. Gubacsi Dulu got its 47th Amazon.com rating... a 2 star... which shows more about the reader than the book. Perhaps it's another hit by 'The Trash Sci-fi Mafia'!, a collection of readers and writers who want to keep the reading level down to make their work easier.

I also noticed someone ran through some of my earlier posts here, and so I also had a look - wow, I really had something to say back then, in 2012, 2014, 2016... there were some really good posts!

Maybe if you're new here, you should look through the archive, perhaps there's something there to hold your attention.

But, more importantly, Humanity H2O! Save humanity from itself!

Farkas Alpha and Radnoti X still happening!

A little bit of movement on Radnoti X and Farkas Alpha yesterday and the day before. The idea that some people out there in the world are reading my books is a good feeling. Farkas was in the Top 5 on a subcategory for New Releases...I haven't checked it today, though. Working on Book 4...

And yes, a 4th book! 'Reif's Return' (the title kinda gives the game away... but how? Why? What for? So many questions - what exactly is Hadidi's plan? What will happen to humanity? Will Karina ever get some peace and quiet?)

Come and Pre-Order now! Reif's Return! ...the rush has already started!

And if you haven't joined the sci-fi bandwagon - because it's on, it's happening - here's the link to the series... come and get a brainf**k! (Apparently)

Australian Reviews from Top 500 Reviewer!

A review popped up for Radnoti X yesterday, a 3 star review from Australia from a Top 500 Reviewer!

So I went 'down under' and noticed another review from the same reviewer on Gubacsi Dulu!

One thing is, it's excellent to receive reviews from a Top 500er! Thank you! Not a first but it is for this series!

Another thing, however .. one of the main things about Humanity H2O is to get the reader to THINK. And this Top 500 reviewer seems as though they don't wish to do that, or not too much, and also wishes only to see the good side of the world. This is worrying, not only for the reviewer but also for... humanity.

What will literature look like in the future? Where, in fact, are we now, in a world of trash and clones, and yet a book series which makes you think doesn't belong? This does not bode well for the future.

Where is our education? Where is our culture? Where is our art?

I am saddened. I am in shock. Slightly. I expected this from trash readers, and have received it with 1 and 2 star ratings, but not from those who read a lot...?

BUT HEY! The reviewer did say "Clever writing"! And it is!

Recommend it to anyone with a brain! What is the expression? Brainf#*k? (Yes, there are 4... and that's it, okay, 4, no more, no less)
